Discipleship Classes

As Christ followers, we are called to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. But we can’t love God if we don’t know God. Discipleship classes seek to grow our love for God as we grow in our understanding of Him and His Word. Additionally, these classes aim to build and solidify our biblical foundation so that we are equipped to do the work of ministry.

Through our Discipleship Classes, we want to offer church-based theological education that is gospel-saturated, theologically rich, practical, and studied in community. Some of the classes we plan to offer include: Christian Story (the storyline of Scripture), Christian Beliefs (the core beliefs of Christianity), Christian Formation (the core practices of the Christian life), How to Study the Bible, and Apologetics.

Discipleship Classes will be on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 worship service and they will last for 8 weeks, with one class being offered during the Team 1 schedule and the other being offered during the Team 2 schedule. This schedule will allow participants to attend the worship service, while continuing to serve in one of the ministries of our church.

This class will begin on January 5 at 9:00 AM in the Connection Center, and it will meet in January and March to allow those who serve on the Team 2 schedule to participate. The cost is $15, which will help cover the cost of course materials.
