Lunches of Love
In the land of plenty, it is hard to believe that there are children going hungry every day! The Brook partners with Mission Firefly and local schools to identify students who meet the criteria to receive a bag of food each Friday to take home for the weekend. Many of these children are “food insecure,” which means that they don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
Benevolence
At The Brook, our mission is to live intentionally to bring God's Kingdom everywhere we go. When we serve individuals in our community, our goal is to walk alongside them as they transition from crisis to stability by offering hope, resources, and assistance. We provide encouragement, mentorship, and prayer for families, as well as financial training, home skills, digital literacy skills, resume and interview skills. For more information, please contact Chip Woosley.
Community Groups
Our Community Groups provide another avenue of service at The Brook. We encourage each Community Group to serve in our city in ways that are unique to that group. For more info, visit our Grow Page.
Serve Groups
Serve Groups are groups of 6-15 people with a shared mission that meet throughout our city with the purpose of serving a specific people or meeting a specific need. They meet weekly (OR) based upon the frequency of need with the ministry they are working with. For more info, visit our Grow Page.
