What is Collide?
Collide is our Disciple Now weekend taking place on MLK weekend, Jan. 14-16 @ The Brook. The cost is $75 which covers all your student's meals, material, transportation, and t-shirt. Our theme this year is "ALIVE & FREE" based off of the book of James. A book that calls upon believers of all ages to live a life full of action and virtue.
What will my student be doing?
Throughout this weekend your student will be involved in times of impactful worship, engaging small groups, service projects and simply staying up late and hanging out with their peers. That's right, you have a weekend without teenagers in your house since your student will be staying at one of our Host Homes (members of our church) with students of the same gender and grade (H.S. or M.S.). Oh, and don't worry about them coming home tired, they have all of Monday to rest up before they go back to school since Monday is MLK Jr. Day.
Where will my student be staying?
Your student will be staying in homes that have student's of their own involved in our ministry. We have complete trust in these families and we know that your student will be kept safe over the weekend. Also, at each Host Home there will be a small group leader staying with your student who will be investing in them and making sure they are safe and follow our rules.
Can my student bring a friend?
Absolutely, the more the better! Guests go for only $40 and can sign-up using the same link. All they need to do is enter the promo code, "Guest" to receive their discount.
***On top of that, the three Brook Students who bring the most guests will get $100 off their TBS Beach Camp price.
Are scholarships available?
Yes! So if money is an issue don't let it be. We want your student at Collide. If you do need a scholarship, please email Chip Woosley no later than Sunday, Jan. 9.
