Local Missions Opportunities

Care Kits

Care Kits are an easy opportunity for anyone at The Book to be involved with intentionally loving and serving our community. Watch this video to learn more about how these bags can be used and what's inside. You can purchase a Care Kit HERE.

Lunches of Love

In the land of plenty, it is hard to believe that there are children going hungry every day! The Brook partners with Mission Firefly and local schools to identify students who meet the criteria to receive a bag of food each Friday to take home for the weekend. Many of these children are “food insecure,” which means that they don’t know where their next meal is coming from.

King's Table

King's Table is a ministry at The Brook that plays an important role in our local benevolence as we see people transition to stability. Through the generosity of our church family, we are able to provide interim support to people in our community by meeting emergency food needs and sharing the gospel. If you would like to know more about how you, your family, or your Community or Serve Group can get involved, please contact Chip Woosley.

Benevolence

At The Brook, our mission is to live intentionally to bring God's Kingdom everywhere we go. When we serve individuals in our community, our goal is to walk alongside them as they transition from crisis to stability by offering hope, resources, and assistance. We provide encouragement, mentorship, and prayer for families, as well as financial training, home skills, digital literacy skills, resume and interview skills. For more information, please contact Chip Woosley.

Community Groups

Our Community Groups provide another avenue of service at The Brook. Each group serves our community in ways that are unique to that group. For more info, visit our Grow Page.

Serve Groups

Serve Groups of groups 6-15 people with a shared mission that meet throughout our city with the purpose of serving a specific people or meeting a specific need. They meet weekly (OR) based upon the frequency of need with the ministry they are working with. For more info, visit our Grow Page.
